Fibreglass Decking
Fibreglass
decking is designed to replace old, wooden pontoon decking
and for constructing new marina pontoon decks, fingers, piers, jetties,
entrance gangways, bridges, fuelling pontoons and pump out stations.
Fibreglass fibreglass
decking is an extremely tough and durable decking material with
a life span of over 50 years that has been designed to withstand
the rigours of marine environments.
Fibreglass
decking can enhance the asset value of marina properties, and
the incredible anti-slip qualities and appearance can help to attract
new berth holders and possibly reduces insurance premiums.
The small 12mm x 12mm mesh size
prevents small objects from falling through and complies with the
European 15mm ball falling test requirement. Also, the close spacing
of the bearing bars provides smooth movement for small or large
wheeled trolleys, and wheelchairs etc.

In addition to improving safety
standards commercial decking provides excellent impact resistance,
is easy to install and offers long term durability. The gritted
anti-slip surface has one of the highest degrees of slip resistance
ever measured for a walking surface. Consideration should be given
to installing FRP decking and non slip decking.
Commercial decking is ideally suited
for replacing timber planking, old hardwood decking and rotten and
slippery planking.
